We went to see Role Model in Atlantic City last year. That concert was awesome. What saves this tour is the opening acts: Sean Patrick McGraw, Miss Willie Brown (fantastic!) and Josh Thompson (great!). So we went again when he came to Reading. So we went to see Role Model two years ago at the Allentown Fair, when he was touring with Brad Paisley. In an interview a few months later Role Model explained that Paisley wouldn't allow them even the time to do sound checks. The concert was just okay. Everything just felt rushed. To make it brief: Role Model spent too much time screwing around, seemed more than slightly intoxicated, flubbed the words more than once, did not introduce the band, rushed through the concert, and did not do an encore. This had to be the first concert I've ever been to where the members of the band weren't introduced. And the headliner did not do an encore. In fact, he closed with a Billy Joel song. Still wanna go?
